plot:

Kabir has just met Natasha. 6 months later they are engaged. He wants to go on an extended bachelor party to spain. A 3 week road trip with Imraan and Arjun - his 2 best friends since school. The only problem is Arjun is too tied up with work. After much emotional blackmail and cajoling the boys set off on a journey they were meant to take 4 years ago. A fantasy holiday they had planned to take after college but never happened. A road trip where each one gets to do the ultimate sport of his choice and the other 2 just have to do it with him. Kabir, Imraan and Arjun meet up in Barcelona and set off on an adventure. In short, a holiday which will change their lives forever.

Starring :

Hrithik Roshan : as Arjun, a financial trader who works at a huge firm in London. Arjun grew up without a father and has seen tough life, his entire focus is to grow bigger better faster. Reluctant to leave his work, he agrees to go on this holiday.



Farhan Akhtar : as Imraan, a copywriter who works at an advertising agency in Delhi. Imraan is the bohemian, a closet poet. He is looking forward to Spain.



Kalki Koechlin : as Natasha, daughter of a rich hotelier. She is an interior designer and in love with Kabir. She is a bit nervous about this bachelor trip.



Katrina Kaif : as Laila, a bohemian fashion student in London. She takes time off to teach diving. This year in Spain, she meets up with three young men from India.



Abhay Deol, Ariadna Cabrol, Naseeruddin Shah : Abhay as Kabir, a wealthy young man who works with his father's construction company in Mumbai. He is bright, articulate and polite. Engaged to Natasha and off on his bachelor trip.

Katrina - Zarine

Zarine Khan credits her cameo in director Anees Bazmee's 'Ready' and says she has got a very glamorous makeover for the role.

Zarine Khan made her debut in 'Veer'. She then got the nickname 'Fatrina' because of her striking resemblance with Katrina Kaif, the only difference being she a chubbier version of the latter.

Zarine Khan caught Salman's fancy while filming 'Yuvraaj' in which she doubled for Katrina.

Their resemblance is uncanny. Zarine, though a couple of years younger to Katrina, had a fuller figure before and hence had to groom herself to face the camera.She has trimmed down a lot these days that it's hard to make out the difference between both in some shots.

As it's done and over with between Katrina and Salman, he also seems enjoying the company of his ex's lookalike. We wonder whether it's Zarine next!

Career

Kaif began her modeling career at the age fourteen; her first job was for a jewelry campaign. She continued modeling in London under a contract with the Models 1 Agency and did campaigns for houses such as La Senza and Arcadius, and even walked on the London Fashion Week.

Kaif's London modeling-work led to her discovery by London-based filmmaker Kaizad Gustad, who gave her a part in his film Boom (2003). She moved to Mumbai and was offered a number of modeling assignments. However, filmmakers were initially hesitant to sign her because she could not speak Hindi.

Kaif saw moderate success with the 2005 film Sarkar, where she played the bit part of Abhishek Bachchan's girlfriend, and Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya (2005), where she was paired opposite Salman Khan.

In 2007, Kaif appeared in her first major hit movie, Namastey London, wherein she starred as a British Indian girl alongside Akshay Kumar for the second time after the box office letdown Humko Deewana Kar Gaye (2006). Her run of hit films continued with Apne, Partner, and Welcome.

In 2008, she played the villain role for the first time in Abbas-Mustan's hit action thriller Race. She played the role of Saif Ali Khan's secretary who is secretly in love with his hostile stepbrother (played by Akshay Khanna). Kaif's second release of the year was Anees Bazmee's production Singh Is Kinng, opposite Akshay Kumar. The film was a big success at the box office. Kaif's final release of the year, Subhash Ghai's Yuvvraaj, was a commercial failure, but its script has made its way into the Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences for artistic merits, original screenplay with a substance, and the film as a whole.

Kaif's first release for 2009, New York, with John Abraham, was a critical and commercial success. Kaif's performance was highly regarded. Wrote critic Taran Adarsh, "Katrina gives you the biggest surprise. Known for her glamour roles, Katrina proves that she can deliver if the director and writer offer her a role of substance. She's outstanding. In fact, people will see a new, different Katrina this time."

At the year's end, she appeared in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, with Ranbir Kapoor, and De Dana Dan with Akshay Kumar. Both films were commercial successes.

Katrina is best known for her glamour roles, which is not surprising since she made her debut on the ramp at 14. Katrina has even walked for London Fashion Week. But there is more to her than the great face. As an actor, she can deliver quite a punch, especially with improved grasp of Hindi.

Personal life:

Katrina has seven siblings and has recently tried to launch sister Isabella in Bollywood. A former model, Katrina Kaif was initially shunned by producers due to her faltering Hindi. She's come a long way since then. Her relationship with Salman Khan is much speculated on with either her or Salman clarifying or denying their relationship.

Controversies:

Katrina has often been branded 'indifferent by her costars. During the filming of Race, Katrina and Bipasha failed to connect giving rise gossip about 'kat fights' and arguments. The buzz is that Katrina is not too concerned about being friends with her female co-stars!
